Have you ever blacked out from pain?

When my appendix ruptured and I had to wait to see a doctor or nurse to give me some meds I eventually blacked out. I woke up an hour or so later on the operating table totally naked with my Dad writing "cut here" on the right side of my abdomen. Freaked me the frick out until they put the gas mask over my face.

Never blacked out but I believe you on the appendicitis thing, it happened to a coworker of mine except without your child molester dad.

Never blacked out. But when I blew out my ACL it hurt so bad it's like the world turned into a photo negative and everything s-l-o-w-e-d down. The effect ended before I hit the ground, but it felt like it took two months to hit the ground.
Ugh.

I wish I would have with my worst kidney stone. If I could have got up long enough to get a gun I probably would have shot myself. All I could do is lay there and vomit.

I've blacked out from Xanax and whiskey and the next day I was in pain

I had to have some staph cut out of my stomach and came close (I heard rushing water, like waves crashing against rocks), "packing" is horrible.
Especially the gay kind.

My appendicitis pain was child's play compared to a sacral torsion. I really thought I was going to be paralyzed even though the doc said I wouldn't. But the appendicitis would have actually killed me had I waited much longer.

I died for a few seconds on the operating table, but I've never blacked out due to pain.

That's such a weird feeling too. Because you actually function and keep doing shite and don't remember a thing...not even a hazy memory or any small periods of time with blackout moments. You remember absolutely nothing.
There was even one time I apparently got in my truck and drove...woke up on the floor of my living room with the door to outside wide open and about 25 degrees outside. Didn't remember anything my friends told me all the stuff I did and it was like 2 hours worth and I couldn't recall any of it.

A dermatologist was numbing my face to remove a mole and hit a nerve. That's the most excruciating pain I've ever felt. I didn't black out but I did cry like a little girl.

I've been there before. I was in the fetal position in the ER for 4 hours before they gave me anything for pain. All of the doctors were busy working on someone that was about to die. I felt I was, too.

Never blacked out but one summer I was working with my dad on our farm and a telescopic jack on a trailer failed and my hand got pinched in between the two separate pieces. Took a good chunk of skin and muscle with it and I got tunnel vision and couldn't really think clearly. Then the shock wore off and I wanted to die.

Nope, but I have caused my share of blackouts.
Aside from several of the obvious ones...
Being under a local when I should have opted to be knocked out. Doc hit something and the blood gushed like a water fountain. Attending nurse went out cold and cracked her head on a table on the way down. Pandemonium erupted and it was all pretty surreal. If I had not been hit so hard by the local I probably would have freaked out but remained pretty calm.
Got my lower eyelid sliced off in a fight in grade school. Never felt it and still won the fight but watched cute chick pass out. Got it stitched back on and got a date with the chick later on. Was a real win - win day.
Took 2 shots in the chest from a young colt. Another inch and it probably would have killed me, instead it was pretty intense pain and probably wished I had blacked out.
