Fury was fantastic. Great acting across the board, great action, and great character development. It definitely exposes some harsh realities of WWII. I really enjoyed it. Have not seen John Wick, but a friend (who is quite the movie critic) said it was one of the best action movies he's seen in years.

Well, hell.
Tough choice but sounds like I can't go wrong. Now, what food should I sneak in: Steak n Shake or Chick-fil-a?

I went with John Wick and Steak n Shake.
It was a lovely evening.

Battle scene at the end of Fury is so unrealistic that it kills the movie

I'm taking my son to the late show of Interstellar, anyone seen it yet?

Philosophically and character-wise it was fascinating.
Overall, I was a little disappointed. It's tough to sustain for 3 hours. When we got back to the bookcase I was basically done.

Yep, and too many loose ends at the end for me.
If cooper could go back to Brand with little time passing, why didn't the station just send a ship through the wormhole to get her and bring her back? It was just outside the wormhole anyway right?
The assumption is the Earth went ahead and died (at least for humans) Murph was being transported from where to the space station? Or was she one of the last to leave Earth and the space station was on its way to the wormhole?

it was a "Lost" ending for me. you make this beautiful story and have an excellent climax only to end on a suspension of belief that does not truly fit within the grasp of the story itself. I feel like they decided to pull on my heart strings to make me not catch the fact that they wrote themselves into a hole.
pretty flawless story telling followed by an inability to have a story not wrap up in a pretty bow.
Still an amazingly shot, acted, and directed film in my opinion

I definitely feel like I got my money's worth and I'm not a big fan of "bongo boy" but I think he did a great job

Fury was better than I expected. I'm a big war movie fan and my grandfather's division was involved in the last push inside Germany. The effects were pretty good and the acting wasn't too Hollywood glamourized. Only real problem I have with the movie is the profanity overkill in the beginning. It distracts from the film to an extent.
Interstellar was good but not unpredictable. I like McConaughey as an actor but there are several other A-listers that would have been better suited to this role. Strangely, I've had dreams similar to some of the depictions and scenes in this film.
