He's handling this with total class. Doesn't seem bitter at all. I had misjudged the guy.

It's very sad. I feel bad for him but it is a business. He's a great man and he is going to make a good defensive coordinator somewhere

Doesn't surprise me, always thought that he was that kind of guy. Shame he couldn't win more football games. best of luck wherever he goes, unless it's in the SEC of course.

I agree, he's taking it all very well, very much a class act. Also, Coach Bielema in his press conference at lunch, was really talking about how good a person Muschamp was and that he thinks he will end up a head coach somewhere else.

He's getting paid $6 million to go away and can be a dc anywhere he wants. Why be bitter about that?

Agree, watching it now and thinking the same thing. At the same time, he has plenty of reasons to feel good about his situation,he is young, pretty well off financially and has plenty of opportunity in front of him.

Yep he is a good guy. I think he will make a good head coach some day. Probably needs to cut his teeth at a small program for a few years and then get back in the big ranks.

That sucks, yeah. But you can visibly see how hard this decision was for Foley and how highly he thinks of Muschamp

nope, nor Auburn, nor fsu, nor Scar, he's going to the NFL. Hinted toward it in the press conference.

Best thing that could happen for him is to got be a DC for an offensive minded head coach, sit back and take notes.

Here's my thing about Muschamp -- he still has a winning record as a head coach, took Florida to a BCS bowl, and was a Jordan Reed fumble at tWLOCP from going undefeated in 2012 with Jeff Driskel at QB. Zook didn't get anywhere near that and got a Big Ten job afterward.

I don't think its a given that he's just going to go be a coordinator somewhere.

Agreed. And you can tell in his eyes he is pretty upset so you know it's not easy.

I wouldn't be stunned if a school like UVA hired him

He could just not address the media and quit on his team and not coach the rest of the season like Derek DoLittle did at TN.
