"All I want to be is a candidate at Oklahoma. I'm not a candidate anywhere else. I'm finished with that question."

I thought he could at least get a raise out of it. Just to aggravate my OU buddies I love that we take a shot at Stoops.

Chip Kelly's hasn't denied it yet.

Choice no.1 please. Nobody wants Stoops anyway.

He couldn't bitch about the SEC anymore if he took the job. He'd also have to eat his words once he had to play a tough game just about every week.

In all seriousness, who would you say are the top candidates? And please be realistic...harbaugh/gruden/kelly/etc aren't real answers.

I've seen posts by Florida fans saying he would be a "perfect" fit. I am surprised you haven't seen them.

Why not? Harbaugh might be on his way out of the NFL, but would probably land at Michigan. Kelly has already expressed an interest in leaving the NFL...and would excel at Florida.

Nobody in the SEC wants Chip Kelly at UF.

That would be fricking scary. Those Florida athletes in his system would be a damn juggernaut.

ETA:
We all should be huge Eagles fans.

That's precisely why his candy-arse wouldn't take the job. He couldn't make it in the SEC.

I haven't seen these posts either. Last thing I want is a choke artist coaching the team at the end of the year. I'd much rather have Mullen (other Gator fans not so much).

It's one of the best jobs in college football. Great location, a lot of money, recruiting up the wazoo, lots of expectations (but a guaranteed mulligan on the first season after the state Muschamp left in).

Most people would take it, Stoops just doesn't want to tarnish himself by having to play in a conference where there are no off days.

Then why did you have to hire a coordinator last time?

So your team has lost 10 in a row to a dumpster fire. What does that say about UT?
