Total Yards = 815
Total Carries = 121
Avg. Yds/Carry = 7.1
Avg. Yds/Game = 163
Total TD's = 8

He also has 146 yds. receiving.

Has any UGA back ever had a stretch as impressive as this?
He's the man.

I should've typed "has any TRUE FRESHMAN back ever had a stretch as impressive as this?" The answer is "no".

I was just about to post this. Yeah, that was a good stretch- posting with bear claws here dammit. I should edit so I don't look like such a-hole. Oh, well.

Anyway. Chubb's a fricking monster.

You definitely don't look like an a-hole at all, just too caught up in the moment. Chubb is a straight up beast who is playing fantastic football, but he's not the best TFr we've had, and I would honestly put this season behind TG's 2012 as well.

I don't know, with 2 (hopefully 3) regular season games and a bowl, he looks like a lock to go well over 1,000 yards (unless he gets hurt)

Hell, he could hit 1,000 next week

I think there's still something to be said about the eye test that doesn't show up on paper.

Chubb is a bowling ball ala MJD that is almost impossible to bring down. But Gurley was just so electric. Every time Chubb gets the ball I expect him to get 5-10 yards. When Gurley touched the ball I was almost expecting him to score. Plus, I don't think I've seen a running back physically punish an alabama defense like Gurley did, since saban has been there.

I agree he doesn't look as impressive as a ball-carrier, the results are undeniable. His Freshman season is far from over, but if maintains this kind of production...who knows.

I totally forgot to blame Dallas for the Autographgate. When I saw his post saying that Gurley was at 760+ yards after 6 games, I remember thinking "Oh Jesus, what's getting ready to bust all this up?"

Chubb has gotten freshman of the week in some way every week he's started (including Saturday - first carry, whatever). Pretty damn impressive.

By some way, I mean 247 national freshman of the week like this week, sec freshman of the week, etc

I'm starting to feel that way about Chubb.

Am I off when I was say he reminds me of Hearst? Only better.

Chubb's yards after contact is beyond incredible. He doesn't have the finesse that Gurley has, Chubb is slightly more of a straight-line runner than Gurley, but his center of gravity is lower and it makes him slightly harder to tackle.

By the time Chubb is a junior and has another 12-15 lbs on him, he's going to punish defenders like no other. It's going to hurt to try and tackle him. He's just special in a bit different way than Gurley. Slightly less finesse and slightly more punishing.

Isn't he about 220ish? I don't know if I'd want him to pack on another 15.

I wonder if they can special order a Heisman in a couple of years with a guy who is a little shorter and only has one shoe on?

He's 18 years old and a true freshmen that just began a top tier D1 collegiate S&C program and diet, you don't think he's going to get a little bigger?

The kid is crazy strong. He can hold 230 lbs and it not slow him down in the least.

When I'm an old man running backs are going to be 260 pound beasts that run 4.3 40's.......
