In the playoffs. Neutral field, who do you have?

Bama. By 2 TDs. We don't let off the gas in the 2nd half like we did the first time.

Wouldn't it make more sense to see Alabama rematch a team they actually lost to?

Not going to happen. Moo State left out. Buckeyes in to get smoked by whoever they play. Is it right? No. Will it happen? Yes.

that would be messed up. One loss @ bama , compared to a home loss to Virginia Tech.

Bama is used to the big stage.

State is not.

Think the Rolling Stones playing Yankee Stadium versus some local band playing a bar.

State dominated the game Saturday when they didn't have their heads up their arse. Got down by 19 and still win the game if not for a redzone INT on a batted down ball, or a bullshite fumble overturn.

If pigs could fly, Bama won but a rematch wouldn't be close, State comes to play and wins by 2 TD's.

ETA: These are the two of the three best teams in football. I'm scared of Jameis, they are going to be hard to beat when they stop shaving first half points.

No the sense is to rematch the number 2 and 4 teams not a team with 2 losses soon to have 4.

That was clearly what happened in the first half on the road.

I think it's also pretty clear we got over that in the second half.

I also think that if Alabama hadn't played LSU the week before, we would've been a little bit fresher in the 2nd half when State started moving the ball.

Would be another good game if the two teams met.

I hope we don't get second game syndrome. OP knows all about that. Knowing what happened to LSU I think Saban takes a totally different approach than Miles did and we actually beat them worse. But that's just me hoping cause I have no idea.

Actually, I agree. And I would much rather see it than any of the other possible match ups.

Very possible.

With that said, after getting that first game against y'all out of the way, I don't think we shite the bed in the first half and have to overcome such a significant deficit.

Would be a great game if it were to happen again.
