I think it is likely that they meet in the first round of the playoff.

(1) Alabama v (4) MSU

and
(2) Oregon v. (3) FSU

Moreover, I think State has a really good chance of beating Alabama on a neutral field. This is one instance in which the mulligan may not work in Alabama's favor.

If bama and MSU are both in the final 4, you would certainly think that the committee would pair them together. And I agree. Nobody wants to watch yet another SEC rematch for the national title.

I don't think the playoffs is something that LSU fans really need to be concerned about at this point.***

Alanis could write a new song if Bama gets knocked out of the playoffs in a rematch

Isn't there some kind of agreements with the host bowls about the teams? SEC champ to the Sugar and PAC12 to the Rose or does that just apply when the bowls are not part of the playoff?

I would relish the opportunity! I remember the year we upset Florida in the Swamp during regular season, then beat the shite out of them in the SECCG! Unlike the LSU folks, we ain't skert!

Moreover, I think Oregon likely handles FSU and makes it to the final. It would be really interesting to see either State or Bama versus Oregon.

Both SEC teams have huge linebackers and good, but not great, defensive backfields. Oregon would give either school a run for their money in the championship game.

FSU would handle Oregon with ease. Bigger, faster, stronger than the ducks.

No argument there as it pertains to LSU. The Demise is in full force. We had a good run - I'm cool with it. I can now return to my 1990s self that simply enjoy college football as a sport and was not overly concerned about my team's chances.

Bama would beat MSU by double digits if we played again.

State will handle Ole Miss. Ole Miss is going to lose this weekend to Auburn as well.

I don't see the committee leaving out Baylor or TCU. Remember, Baylor still has Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and a final showdown against #13 Kansas State to boost their resume. If they route all three teams...I don't see the committee leaving them out.

'iglass'

Why worry about what about LSU fans are concerning themselves with? So is LSU still in your head for some reason or is it because they are done for the year? Hell if they can't ask a question about the playoffs because they won't be in them then how about address the rest of the SEC teams.

Damn DeltaDoc didn't even post anything negative about your red neck, hillbilly arse, 1st cousin dating self and you still just hate on a simple question. What a dude!
