What is the deal with injuries at UGA?

Last year we saw Marshall, Scott-Wesley, Conley, Bennett injured and this year, Michel, Marshall again, Mitchell again and now Gurley. Even before the injury, I always saw them tweaking and massaging him on the sidelines.
Is it a conditioning thing? Diet? Just bad luck? What gives?

Torn ACL is nothing more than just a heaping pile of shitty luck.

But all of those I listed were knee injuries. That's a pattern that can't just be explained by luck, isn't it?

Marshall was a traumatic hit at the wrong place.
Scott- Wesley's was bizarre as it was no contact
Conley twisting his ankle coming down from going up high for a ball.
Bennett tore his ACL and then tweaked it against last year.
Michel broke his shoulder blade due to a hit from a helmet.
Marshall I think is being RSed more from the mental angle than a physical problem. He was obviously pressing but didn't trust the knee to make cuts. He needed the year.
MItchell is doing fine, apart from his normal soft tissue sprains and strains.
Gurley just plain sucks, coming back on a cold night after being "off" for a long period isn't great. It is also just the accumulated wear and tear eventually pushing the ligament past the point of no return.
They started an injury prevention program this past off season. It should eventually pay off, but there will always be injuries.
I do HATE the relaxing of the "scrum" rule though. That is just an injury waiting t happen.

Michel had a broken shoulder blade..
also Marshall never got hurt again, he just hasn't fully recovered. Bennent, Marshall and JSW got hurt in the same game on UTk's shitty turf.

Right about Michel. Sorry. Overlooked that one in my statement.

Gurley is just a case of a guy being too big and too fast.

The curse of the track people is real.
Look it up.

Sorry. I thought we were going for guys who are said to exist but who in fact, don't, not random Jewish names. Sorry for the confusion.
Track guy curse, huh? Not good news for Chubb.

The word track doesn't mean what you're thinking.

I was just saying the hebrew form of "It's all good man"

Damn. I thought that would be a huge laugh too.
