I think it depends on if Mullen stays or not. As much as we don't want to think about it-there is a chance he leaves. I'm sure he's following his agent's advice and not saying he's staying for sure. He's playing the coach's cliché line saying how happy he is here...and don't have any plans to leave...and how his family likes it here. He's playing the better deal card all the way and just waiting to see what happens.

Let's just hope he's doing that for a fat raise.

We will never lose Mullen over money. Just won't happen...

Before this season he's been very open about leaving if he had a good shot, and that was before he put up the big 2014 numbers.. This was just two students talking so take it FWIW.

I know we hate it but its the reality of the business. Mullen is a hot commodity right now. He is probably in position to make a huge financial impact on his future and he has to think about that. I'm sure he and his wife LOVE Starkville but I'm willing to bet they will love the potential for a few more millions and the high profile coaching position if the opportunity presents itself. Mullen realizes losing all these seniors this year the team will probably take a step backward and his stock won't be as high and he has to think about that. So, we can all hope but we will just have to see how it plays out!!!
