He must make the necessary changes to prevent this from occurring in the off season or he too will be fired... The coordinator carousel continues

Malzahn has bought himself more than 3 years. I doubt he will ever field a sorry team.

Dude the season's almost over and we have more than twice the wins that the 2012 team had. Don't let last night get the best of you.

This thread is completely irrelevant to what we are going through

Quit overreacting. UGA beat us, what 50-0 in JHS in 2012?... we-re likely going 8-4 with a shot at 9 if we win the bowl., against a very difficult schedule

Gus will be fine... some changes need to be made.

Gus is a great coach but he is still figuring out how to be a great head coach I think. The only way he is in danger of losing his job is if we go on an Arky winless streak and that will never happen. A defensive mentality purge needs to happen, some asses need to be kicked and some may need to be kicked to curb, but Gus will be doing the kicking.

Not many coaches would survive a 3-9 season.

Come on man, we've had some off games and we all are disappointed, but Gus is a good coach and will have this program at top levels for years to come.

Retread the op... He must make changes this offseason to prevent another 2012 from happening in 2015... If it continues to slip down the slope all we have on our hands is chizik 2.0

Gus has proven he can win as a HC. Chizik sucked before he got to Auburn and again after Gus left. Gus will likely win as many games this year as Chizik won in 3 seasons without him. Wait until he has a losing season before you compare the two.

Fans of other rival SEC teams will do their best to discredit him more than they have been, but fact remains he is a threat to them as long as he is at Auburn, and a lot of people would be more than happy to have him over what they already have (*cough*UGA*cough*), plus if anyone understands the importance of rooting out problems and making adjustments after a disappointing season, it's him. And that's the one silver lining to the bad Chizik era, people learn from watching another man's mistakes.

We lost some key players to injuries this year. Not sure about what is happening in the locker room with these guys but something is broke.

Not sure why we even are bringing up what the OP suggests. An overreaction really.

1. That's your fault for not making your OP clear and concise.

2. You're still overreacting.

3. He doesn't HAVE to do anything.

On what planet, ever, do you think Gus will allow a 2012 season to occur?

Y'all are tripping hard over one game, frick.

We're gonna have some talent on next years team... and our road games won't be the top 15 murders row like this year -- UK, A&M, Ark, LSU, and UL in the dome... those five are pretty mediocre teams, granted some will improve.

we'll be fine... 8 wins min IMO.

Yep it's pretty much set up now that if we want a special season it's going to occur in an odd numbered year.
