Let me remind you he went 11-14 his first two years in the Big 12. For comparison, Muschamp is 27-20 @ Florida
Carry on
Carry on

He is the real deal.

Muschamp is at Florida. Patterson is at TCU. You are at the bottom of the IQ percentile ranking.

That's an absolutely terrible comparison.

Obviously, one good year against real competition. Real deal.

and he lost to les miles

You're comparison is flawed.....and terrible.

And TCU barely beat one of the worst teams in FBS yesterday.
But keep slobbering.
But keep slobbering.

Because tcu and uf are on equal playing fields, right? GTFO with this shite.

Not really the point. Muschamp is the worst coach ever, but Patterson is a HR hire when he's had 1 good year against legit competition?

Dude was taking a tiny private school into one of the top cofernences in America. Amazing he has them where they are already.

There's only two years in the 14 years he's been at TCU that he wasn't bowl eligible (2004, 2013). They won the Rose as recently as 2011 over Wisky. They're 9-1 right now while in the Big 12.
This is like saying Urban Meyer was just "ok" at Utah and Bowling Green before moving to Florida.

At a program that just came from the MWC and had MWC players 2 years ago is now a playoff contender in the Big-12.
That's a positive thing to me.

Boom has had 2 bad years at UF.
Patterson would be a HR from the front end perspective. But two bad years and he's Muschamp part 2.

If you want to make the argument TCU is not as good as everyone thinks they are you may have a point, but saying Patterson is not a great coach, I think you lose most people there.
Not going to get involved in the Florida coach debate, however Florida is a much better job than TCU. The Florida recruiting grounds are ripe with recruits and Florida is at the top of the list as a destination. Although Texas is probably even richer with recruits, TCU is below A&M, Texas, and Oklahoma year in and year out, and probably is only equal to a good many more.

I attribute that to the fact that he had MWC level recruits his first 2 seasons in the Big 12.
TCU's recruiting class rankings:
2014-50
2013-30
2012-37
2011-26
2010-46
If Patterson can pull top 50 classes at TCU and more importantly win with only top 50 classes, imagine what he could do at a school like LSU or UF.

Doesn't matter Florida can't afford Patterson.
They can't outspend the money people that have and will keep him at TCU...

Hasn't Patterson been a hot name for some time now? I imagine he has had offers from all over the country. He seems pretty content to stay at TCU.

He has the same agent as Miles and is friends with Miles, that leaves LSU with no shot before they can even get in the dollar bill measuring contest with TCU.

Calipari could have made more money at Memphis than uk...some times these coaches get offered by programs where the money no longer matters.
