These variations resulted in frequencies between 40 to 50 millihertz, about 10,000 times lower than can be detected by humans. ESA scientists altered the frequency of the comet’s song into human hearing range, and discovered it was a series of clicks that are very reminiscent of Predator’s growl

Okay, forgive my ignorance here.
I thought space was a vacuum where you can't hear anything. What I'm gathering here, is that it's not actually soundless, it's just that we can't hear it?

You are right that nothing can be heard across space. These are probably vibrations detected in the comet itself.

It's vibrations they recorded. Not actual "sound".
