We will pay WAY more for Muschamp than you can afford. If you try, it will be the courthouse all over again.

Just helping y'all keep your expectations in line with reality.

And Alabama will pay more just to put him in a nice corner office as a "consultant".

Spurrier will be back next year, we might go after him as a DC, or Asst HC in Charge of Defense. We'll see what happens. With the stadium expansion y'all just did and Staff buyout, you might not have the cash that we will.

"Do you want to make more money than most head coaches in Power 5 college football as a defensive coordinator, or do you want to work for whatever chicken scratch USCjr will pay you?"

no, no you don't, you're not even in the top half of the SEC.

Wouldn't surprise me if he takes a year or two off from coaching. Very few guys go straight from getting fired as a head coach back to an assistant coach. He will likely be given some type of buyout that can support him for a awhile financially

Sometimes you get those Aggie fans on here that think their huge endowment can be used for football.

I'm with Belle. USCw would be a good spot for him. Wherever he lands, I don't think it'll be in the SEC, at least initially. He'll go somewhere else and lick his wounds for a while first.

That is reported revenue. It doesn't show what our private foundation has, or what our AD endowment is (yeah frickers, our AD is endowed).

Look at our stadium, look at our facilities, and look at our coach's salary. We got more money than USC easy.

He's going to get about $6.4M over the next 3 years. Another reason why he would go to SC vs aTm, he's already getting paid well for his old job. Plus, he's MUCH closer with Spurrier than that other guy out west.

You seem pretty nervous about it. Almost threatened.

When you can basically use it as collateral for a huge stadium note at a low interest rate then suddenly that endowment and general system wealth CAN be used for college football.
