We will never have a top ranked defense with our offense. Top ranked defenses use ball control. We use gimmicks

Who is asking for a top ranked D? I would settle for a mediocre D. Our D consists of hoping the opposing O throws an incompletion on third down.........unless it's third and less than two. Because we all know that on fourth and less than two every team will go for it and convert it.

Bruce has shown in the past he doesn't press when he fully gets his players and systems in place. Even though we won I think the defense can improve and will throughout the rest of the season. Relax man, it was the first game of the year.

we scored 7 frickin points against a defense that became a woman versus the worst offense in the SEC in gainsville.

One of the major complaints about Auburn early in the season by the national folks was that Auburn was inconsistent.
Turns out they were right.
The offense was inconsistent all year. The defense was strong then collapsed but had actually made improvements week over week from their low point against USCE.

Going for 450+ yards /game isn't inconsistent bro. Outside the KState game and today, our offense has been consistent all year in terms of production. We are inconsistent in that we either go for 80 yards or 0 yards 3nOut
