We need a new defensive coordinator badly. Play call was bad but we played well enough offensively to win IMO. Defensive effort was laughable.

If you cant line up Tra Carson and get that in two tries you don't deserve to win. Running with Brandon Williams then running the most gimmicky play you can think of is just awful.

That game perfectly summed up our year. Fast start, defense sucks, questionable play calling.

The hardest hit all game was by our RB

I am beyond perplexed at that call.

I didn't mind the B-Will run as we were trying to go tempo and it didn't work out.

Gotta line up Tra and go get 6 on the 4th down play, though.

If Snyder isn't gone at the end of the year I'll probably hurt myself.

I agree we should have run Carson on fourth also. Just ranking my frustrations right now

Are you talking about the pass to cam clear? It wasn't a bad call. I was hoping for a weak side option to Brandon Williams. They were stacking the strong side.

I don't think Carson up the middle was our best bet just based on how they had been playing us.

In a number of short yardage plays over the last 2 years, Tra has gotten blown up. It's far from automatic. I'd like to have the 3rd down call back.

I agree with this. We were out physicaled on both lines. If we get into a power formation with Ben and Bus then they probably still stop us. No in love with the play call but shite. Can someone explain to me why Ricky ran his route right before the first down and goaline?

I agree. The problem was not the play. It was the execution.

I'm not giving him a pass but what did he have to work with? 2 starters off team to start the season, 2 more DL starters out and one hobbling around barely able to walk (Williams), all three LB starters were down by the end of the game (Hilliard, Walker, and Alaka- I think Washington missed time as well) and our secondary has always been suspect but I dont know how beat up they are- Everrett has a bionic elbow and Harvey was down a bit too.

The defense still pisses me off but that's gonna be tough on any teams defense not named Bama.

Tired of seeing our secondary with their back to the QB and the ball. How can they defend a pass if they can't see it coming?? Wait... they cannot.

Defensive effort was very poor. Can't remember seeing so many 2 yard scrums continue to go forward for 4, 5 or 6+ yards. We just didn't want it as bad as Mizzo.

You would think we would make an adjustment to stop Mizzo from being able to get outside position on our DEs to let their RB get the corner. Either get our DE to stay wide or change the DE for someone that can do that. That was ridiculous and went on the entire game.

Our offense was not very good but we were in it. There was no doubt that the better and more physical team won the game.

yeah honestly it wasn't a bad call. The play was not only there, everyone but one player executed it. There is a reason Cam Clear hasn't played a lot and it isn't because he lacks physical gifts. How a guy who probably was giving up 100 pounds to him kept him from gaining a yard is inexplicable. Sumlin even subtly made that comment in the post-game presser

I didn't mind a different call there because we hadn't shown any ability to run down their throat when they knew it was coming. I was actually much more frustrated with the 3rd down call when we basically wasted a down. In an ideal world, Allen should have checked out of it but we tried to tempo. Kyle is still wet behind the ears and you can't really blame him, but the coaches should have called TO when they saw the alignment.

I hafta cough bullshite on this one.

I'm not all in for Spavital, at all. Not AT ALL. But had that play worked we'd all be calling, "Genius!" And that play SHOULD HAVE WORKED.

I am not one to single out college football players. I'm still philosophically opposed to referees' calling their numbers. I truly am. They're just kids. But Cam Clear didn't even try on that call. He attempted to WALK over the defender. Had he cut left and RUN he would've scored. He just walked forward.

He was like Forest Gump (f u Bama) on the play. Like, "I'm a supposed to go here. O sh*t, there's a guy here. O well, I'm a 'posed to go there. I'm a goin'."

I don't know how many of y'all watched the game AND/OR read anything before it, but Missouri's defensive front 7 is pretty awesome. That was a brilliant play call. It was executed like the defense of France was twice last century.

AGAIN, I'm NOT all about the Spavital, at all.
