The point is that the better team doesn't always win, obviously.

LSU beat Bama a few years ago before losing to them in the national championship. I better not see you post again, according to your logic I just put you in an infinite loop.

My brain hurts.....

You and Bama are both 9-1 with losses to top 10 teams. The only way you can determine who is better is by the head to head matchup. That's Alabama.

Okay, is Ole Miss better than Bama?

He apparently judges teams based on head to head only.
I'm not saying we're better than Bama but by Henry's logic Ole Miss is better than a team who will likely be #1 tomorrow, but not as good as two teams who will likely won't be in the top 20.

DeRunnya Wilson: 8 catches for 91 yards.

One had an impact on the game. The other one didn't.

Not even remotely true. Bear had a big impact, our D did a great job of stopping Cooper when he caught it. He's the primary reason we handled them in the 2nd half.

Damn shame. What irked me was the offensive line more than anything. Poor performance from them.

Yep. Them and punting. I think Dan let's the baseball team beat our kickers legs for practice.

Dan really shite the bed tonight.

You are a fricking idiot. I bet you not only have never coached a team but have never played football. The MSU coaches can put together a perfect game plan but it takes the players to execute it. The players were not ready for primetime. This should help them with the hostile crowd in Oxford.

Running Dak up the tackle's butt every other play was frustrating. I agree he opened it up in the 2nd half, but he had to or we would have been run out of the stadium. I guess field position had a lot to do with it. But, get a TD before the half instead of a fg, then receive starting the 2nd half, and it is very possible we win the game, in my opinion.

A lot things added up.

JRob - when he had the opportunity to run north-south he chose to try and bounce it to the outside every time and one time it cost us a safety.

Dak - overthrew a wide open TD pass by a mile. I'm still scratching my head about the throw to Bear that got picked off in the endzone.

Little things like Jameon dropping that 3rd and 10 pass.

Our Defense did about as well as they needed for us to win. You just have to credit Blake on those scrambles. That was all him. We stop them one time on that drive we have a chance for the go ahead score.

Sure we made mistakes and I think on a neutral field it might be a different game but that's bama in Tuscaloosa. They made the plays when they needed to like they always do. We came up short.

Do I even need to bring up just how bad our Special Teams are?

Our punters really choked. They are usually the one solid aspect.

That was a frustrating game. Agreed on the defense playing well enough to win it.
