Some dropped passes and ignorant option plays didn't help.

Robjnson's safety fricked us hard. After that we clammed up and played soft the rest of the half. Different ball game if we come out of that drive unscathed.

Can't help but feel better about the 2nd half...kept our playoff hopes very alive and looked good enough to beat Ole Miss in two weeks. We need Bert to get a W in Fayetteville next week and crush their season.

Our ability to continuously waste 1st down plays cost us this game.

Dan should have realized they were keyed into Dak up the middle on 1st down by the 2nd fricking quarter.

Yes. All he had to do was look to last week's game in BR to know no one was getting up the middle on Bama. Maybe Dak's check downs just weren't open but him trying repeatedly to run up the middle was just mind boggling.

As far as OM goes I believe Arkansas beats them. Arkansas is a horrible match up for OM. Their o line will demolish OM's front guys and their secondary won't help them because Arkansas will pound the ball

No matter who beats Ole Miss-they will be a tough out for us-its their other big bowl game at their place and they would love nothing more than to screw up our season!!!!

I'd like to see the differences in field position, especially during the first half.

Ole Miss won't need anymore motivation to get up for the Egg Bowl than the opportunity to drive the final stake into our playoff hopes. It'd be the same for us if the roles were reversed.

It was just a 1 TD difference... We could look at many things that could have been the reason... the INT in the endzone, the contoversial forced fumble that was overruled a TD, etc. 3rd down was definately a part of it tho. But If you look at the way Mississippi State played the 2nd half, they easily out played Bama. It was just that the 1st half was just to horrible to overcome.
