Puts team on back. Subpar stats for a contender. Most likely wins it if they go undefeated. First winner in program history if so.

Nah, Ingram didn't carry the team like Dak. He had a lot more talent around him. Tebow also. Cam would be a better comparison in this sense.

Not saying anyone is better than another, just talking about the senarii you presented.

Although my Heisman list means jack shite, Dak is up there at the top. I would like to see him take it home as long as they lose to Bama.

You know, you might have a point.

1- Completing 146 passes 2231 yards and 18 passing TDs with another 11 rushing.

2- Throwing it 135 times to 8 different guys who are in double digits. Not one of them being over 22 receptions. That says he is smart and can read a defense and make checks.

3- Is our #2 RB

4- Is a threat in catching it for a TD too.

You are wrong on the subpar stats for a contender though. WAY wrong.

Don't worry, he will disappear after tomorrow like he did in 2012.

Funny how bammers throw Ingram in like he is Manning or Newton.
By Ingram, do you mean overrated Ingram in 2009?
You mean the "best player in the country." ....No, that was Suh.
Best player in the Sec..... No that was Eric Berry or Rolando McLain.
Best RB in the SEC..... No that was Dixon from Ms State.
Best player on his own team.....still McLain.
Deserved the Heisman....no back to Suh.

Dak is the best player on his team, his division, his conference and possibly in the nation. Without him, his team would have have 2 losses already and would have zero chance to beat Bama today.
Without Ingram, the 2009 Bama team still wins the division...oops....well....wins the NC which is still huge.

So....No. Dak is the real deal......unlike Ingram.
But. They are e both great players and super nice guys to fans. .

That was the whole point of the post jackass. I was stating that like Mark Ingram....Dak would end up a terrible Heisman winner if he won it.

lol

I don't care for the Heisman because of this but we all know they'd never give it to a purely defensive player. And I take it you didn't watch the USC game that year where Ingram basically was our offense.

What is this supposed to mean?

Nope. Dak isn't a system QB that is getting hype based on his team and not his performance. If an Alabama player had won a Heisman he b4 him he wouldn't have even had anything to campaign on.

Holy shite, I didn't realize Daks passing stats are identical to Blake Sims, except Sims has a higher completion %, better passing efficiency, and has thrown less interceptions.

Where have you been?

Sims is pretty good.

Although actual stats would include Rushing yards & TDs, too.

I hate to bust your bubble AU fan Ingram deserved the Heisman he was voted the best player in collage football, and he is doing fine with the saints or they would have cut him, You better be worrying about UGA and UA, The only defense that is worst than MSU is AU, Bama is going to knock crap out of your defense, I can't wait until Reuban Foster knocks Marshall into next week, He will not even know where he is or who he is, Of course it will wear off in 30 minutes or so, UA fans a river

Nice deflection but no he did not deserve the Heisman. The only reason why he got it for the PR move for bama being # 1 and never had a Heisman. Suh was better with 82 tackles and 12 sacks while being double teamed pretty much every single game. Gerhart for Stanford outrushed and scored more TDs than Ingram. There was virtually no justification for even voting Ingram a Heisman.

DAK is legit.

If he and his team bring their 'A' game -which I'm not sure we've seen since the LSU through Aubarn stretch- watch out.
