I'm with you Volmanac... I'm pulling for the Vols in hoops, but also rooting for Pearl and Auburn. The Tigers have a soft spot in my heart anyways as my grandfather played high school ball wi Sonny Smith at good old Cloud Land in Roan Mountain, TN

You are correct about Alabama football and Kentucky basketball fans crossing over. I have tons of friends that root for the Tide. Kentucky basketball fans have great respect for Alabama football fans because we feel like they are equally as passionate about football as we are about basketball. You can't say that for any other program. Plus we can relate to each other in the fact that we have little brothers, Auburn and Louisville in our states that are delusional and feel like they are our equal, but are really nothing more than little pests that aggravate us from time to time.

Florida is good (most years) at everything, so why would I root for anyone else? 
I do follow UT sports and want them to do well because I live here, and can go to games etc. And before any Aggie has a cow, I have 2 cousins that are grads (oldest in our generation thus first to go to college), and my daughter just got accepted to A&M. Waiting for the Florida answer but in state tuition is cheaper so we prefer she goes to college station. I kind of root for the aggies as well, but now that they are in our conference not so much.
