TIFWIW, Jermaine Whitehead will probably start opposite Rudy Ford.

Duke Williams is OUT due to the knee injury. Not traveling with team.

Sucks not having Duke. Hope he makes it back for the Iron Bowl.

I have a hard time believing that Duke didnt tear something. It looked nasty on TV and we all know how Auburn under reports injuries. Carl Lawson sprained his knee remember

ETA: bout time coach let JW start. Hopefully they give his number back too

When did JW come in against A&M? Was it the beginning of the second quarter?

If that's the case maybe those first 2 A&M TDs don't happen. Do people believe having JW start will significantly increase the ability of our DBs?

Being in position and getting the correct calls can go a long way. I dont think Ford was ready to handle it

A source has confirmed that Jermaine Whitehead will, indeed, start.

I've been a big JW hater over the last 2 years but we did play somewhat better when he was in the game Saturday. He had some big hits too. Holsey has been a non-factor Moncreif a non factor. Rudy has been the best out of the bunch but still wildly inconsistent. I have no problem giving JW his spot back.

I get the feeling that if Whitehead can make the calls, Rudy will be better as he can settle into focusing on himself

T I G E R, from The Bunker, is saying that Duke Williams is fine, but that he is also being held out for precaution (seems kind of unlikely since this is a big game). Does anyone know how credible this guy is?

If right, sit two games and be back for Alabama would seem like the likely scenario.

I think it speaks volumes that he picked off a pass in each of the first two games, got suspended, and then finally saw the field against Texas A&M...and grabbed yet another interceptions.

3 games played on defense, 3 interceptions.

This isn't counting ONLY special teams play.

Coming from a guy that tore both ACL and MCL in one motion, Dukes injury did not look bad to me.

Everything above my knee was horizontal to the ground while everything below was still verical when i tore mine. To being with I didn't feel a lot of pain and tried to get up and run again. Needless to say it didn't work to well. When i tried to put pressure back on it, it complete folded again and that's when i knew it was fricked up.

I know teams have stopped throwing at Jones because of his ints. Seems like everyone is throwing at Mincy / Therezie now. Hopefully JW can back them up
