When Miss. State loses to Bama Saturday, they should remain No. 1

The playoff committee has already told us that 1-loss teams can jump undefeated teams (Oregon over FSU). It also clearly stated the just because a team beats another, doesn't mean it has to be ranked above them (TCU-Baylor).
Given that brilliant set of standards, Miss. St should remain No. 1 despite losing to Bama on Saturday, especially if it's a field-goal game or less.
I mean heck, MSU beat Aub and drilled LSU while Bama needed OT to win a game they probably should have lost.
On top of that, Bama has a loss against the No. 10 team while MSU's loss will be against No. 5.
MSU loses to Bama and remains No. 1.

Agree. Bammer should still be outside the Top 4 too because they cheated in half their wins.

I usually don't have a problem with Bama fans. It's just the week before and the week after a game that my tolerance wavers. I'll like you guys again in 2 days

What's the deal with Bamma fans? I've always found them to be pretty good... When you take jabs at them like little counts ... (AU and LSU ) what the frick do you expect? Most I've interacted with have been pretty cool...

Regular season head-to-head doesn't matter. So let's continue to expand on this playoff thing and increase the chances more and more that this happens on a regular basis.
Devaluing the season can only help college football.

Problem with this thread is not the melting. It's the fact that state will not even have a loss to worry about.
