Does anyone else think Dobbs could turn out to be a really good qb?

maybe ... made some plays against aggressive pass rush ... still not sure what kind of passer he is, but he held his own, all facts considered ...

I'm pretty sure he's a redshirt freshman. Right?

Did pretty well against your D in his first game of the year and then broke the school record for combined passing and rushing yards the next game. I think he'll be fine

Dobbs looked good against Bama and Carolina. He had me slightly nervous watching TSIO. He seems to be the missing piece and looks to fit what UT wants to do on offense. They're pretty explosive with him taking the snaps.

Yes. If he keeps playing the way he's been playing the past two games, I honestly believe the sky is the limit for him. To come in cold mid-season and do what he's done is simply amazing. I saw flashes of talent from him last year when he was forced into action as a true freshman but quite frankly his play now is nothing like it was then. Night and day.

Still needs to work out some accuracy kinks, but he has shown tremendous progress in the passing game. If he is for real, that solves the QB question going into 2015, which was our biggest question mark a month ago about next season.

He played well against Bama. Against South Carolina he looked phenomenal, but everyone does.

You probably don't realize this but Dobbs actually put up more rushing yards against Bama than SC. AND our rushing total was the most Bama had given up to any opponent all year.

IOW, I think you're actually being a bit harder on your D than they deserve despite the stats. They were in position all night but Dobbs + Hurd are hard to contain with the way Dobbs opens the running game. And the talent we have at WR is stellar but it just hasn't been used due to Worley. I know your D is still bad but they're not as bad as Dobbs made them look.

Their D is really, really bad. Worst pass rush we have faced all year.

Oh I don't disagree. What I'm trying to say is Dobbs made them look even worse than they are.

Tennessee quarterback situation

There is no situation.

Dobbs is the Tennessee QB for the next 3 years.
