It's just a matter of days until Tiger football season declines to the very bottom and we get to hear our favorite phrase again! Brace yourselves, Rant. Also prepare for the best all-time SEC school basketball team threads where Pistol Pete and Shaq will be tearing up the court in LSU fans' minds.

Just landed the number 1 player in the nation and already the hogs are getting nervous. It must be troublesome to know that when LSU decides to invest in something we become winners. When Arkansas invests in something they get facility championships.

I'm sure this recruit will help LSU beat the Monstars in imaginary basketball tournaments but for those of us to see our team cut down NCAA nets in real life it's pretty meaningless.

Tell us more about "teams cutting down NCAA nets".
Arkansas has won as many titles as LaSalle as. You aren't quite the UCLA or Indiana you portray yourself.

Kentucky, UCLA, Duke, North Carolina, Indiana.....and just outside the top 5 Ole Miss followed by Arkansas.

LSU has won 3 SEC Titles, 2 sweet 16s, and made a final four since Arkansas has cut down nets anywhere. For a school that prides itself on basketball so much, it sure has been awhile since Arkansas has won anything of consequence. Given basketball could be argued as the third most valued sport at LSU, it sure must be embarrassing that a school like that has basically outmatched you this century
