Football season really wasnt affected. But basketball season is starting. Every single one of LSU's games except 1 this season is on some form of media. I'm sure all the other schools are the same way.

SECN+ is about to be tested. I hope they're up to the challenge and the streams look good.

This is not a troll, but was this not the case prior to this season?

No, now almost every SEC basketball game is televised, which for most of the SEC's traditionally bad basketball programs, is a very new thing.

I think all of LSU's except maybe 1 or 2 were available last year if you had geaux zone. That's not the point though. Because geaux zone only got LSU games. Now i can catch SC/Arkansas when in the past i would have to pay for a month of Razorback Vision or Gamecock Vision (or whatever each school calls it).

I was under the impression that like football, almost all college basketball games had been at least on ESPN3 or something, and when not available through ESPN, had been aired on more local channels (be it a regional or local network).

What is SECN +? Is it online, or is it the channel that only shows up at gametime?

If you get the SEC on cable, do you automatically get the SECN+?

Last year, I might have caught 5 AU basketball games on tv max. Had to listen to it via radio.

technically yes but i know when it first launched some providers were having issues. I would assume those have been worked out by now but I'd check into it to make sure though if i was you.

eta: unless your provider is directv.

Yep - basketball and baseball. Should be able to watch an extra 4-5 Alabama games that I had to stream on ESPN3 before. Pumped.

The lack of choice would bug the hell out of me. That said, I love listening to basketball on the radio.

I'm psyched as hell for the baseball. I hope it helps it take off here in Ky.

I have paid for Ole Miss, Vandy, Arkansas, A&M, Auburn, etc feed during baseball season. Never will have to do that again.
