Always loved this rivalry growing up in Alabama.

Up vote: if you love the history of the rivalry and look forward to this game as one of the best rivalries in all of college football. ETA: See it as a "brotherly" rivalry. Don't want to ever lose but won't root against them in every other game they play.

Down vote: if you hate the other team with the fire of a thousand suns.

I didn't vote, because it can definitely be both.

From the time I was young child up until about 5 years ago I had no problems whatsoever with Auburn. I damn sure pulled for them over bama every year. Now it's far more intense and it's far less "brotherly" than it was. I absolutely do "hate" auburn, but I still recognize it for the great rivalry it is filled with history, tradition, and great games/coaches/players on both sides. Always look forward to this one.

I'm bipolar on this subject. I can and do have good relations with avid UGA people, and will on occasion defend UGA to outsiders. I rarely do that for Bama, for example.

But I certainly despise their football program and hate losing to them.

Should have used "brotherly" in the OP. Great way to describe it.

It'll probably break down along state of origin. UGA fans and AU fans from GA will be prone to hate. AU fans from Alabama compare it to the Iron Bowl, and thus view it as a "friendly rivalry"

Just curious, but why do you hate our program?

Upvote. I refuse to think badly of the UGA fanbase because of the tards on here. My UGA friends are all cool as hell.

I'm just using it to differentiate it from UGA at large. I'm not especially fond of anything else at UGA, but I don't hate Terry or anything.

Both, upvoted because I hit the wrong button.... Both teams are jack-in-the-boxes this year. You don't know which team will pop or flop out.

Prediction:

This game will be 120% more exciting than the two mules fighting over a turnip in tuskarloosa.

Cool, just thought there might be a specific reason.

You mean for hating UGA football? I can provide that insight if you like, I thought you were singling out my use of "program"

As an outside observer, it is one of the games I never miss. It's tGOAT interstate rivalry in tSEC. It's better than TSIO, Alabama v. LSU, Magnolia Bowl, Battle for the Boot, and the Cocktail Party.

I love this rivalry. My wife and her family are dawg fans, so it is a good time for all of us.

I harbor no hate.

Hell even as much as they have owned us over the past 10 years or so, it is nothing that the feel goods of a natty couldn't fix.
