You already fit 102,000 in that thing. If you were to add another upper deck in the end zone, that would probably put you at or near the largest stadium in the country wouldn't it?

Good grief,I hope not. Not unless they extend I-110 down Nicholson and make it about 12 lanes wide.

not going to happen any time soon. We would have to move the tiger cage and probably build a new pmac before we could think of putting an upper deck in the north end zone.

I would think a level of suites would be most likely.

100k people is enough.

They can't even find fans to stay in the 2nd half. What makes you think that want another 5-10k of empty seats.

I highly doubt it. They will renovate the interior concourses and etc before expanding again.

the view of the bridge, the river, the capitol, etc out the NEZ is part of the experience many would hate to lose, IMO

The addition that we just had is more than enough. If they build too many seats, then the demand for them will decrease. Now you have an artificial demand that you can manipulate by asking them to contribute more for a better chance at season tickets

IMO at least 20 to 30 years before it is even talked about trying to add any more seats. I don't think they would consider putting a fourth deck in the south endzone.

Sidenote:

There was a lot of talk before the Bama game about how Saturday would be the loudest game in Tiger Stadium history due to the increased capacity and it being Bama/LSU.

For LSU fans who attend regularly - how did the atmosphere / sheer loudness compare to other big games in TS? I didn't go, but it sounded ridiculously loud on TV.

Finebaum's sidekick was there and he was in awe of the noise. He said it was the best atmosphere he had ever experienced at a football game.

The noise was really coming through over the TV here at my place, too.

I felt like the ole miss game was actually louder and a better effort from the crowd. Ole miss was loud the entire game, we had lulls in this game. It could have been the life sucking of cbs or the towels.

It was very loud...for some reason I didn't think it was as loud as the Ole Miss game 2 weeks ago. Probably those goddamn towels they handed out. I hate those things.

The towels and cbs games make it hard to sustain noise all game. The game took forever

Oddly enough, I thought the Ole Miss game this year had a better atmosphere. Alabama was great but 2012 was better imo
