Auburn fans,

Does seeing Chip Kelly's offense find success make you worry that an NFL owner backs up the Brinks truck to Malzahn?

Furthermore, how would you react if Malzahn decided that the NFL game was not for him and he is hired at Bama?

He's gone...3 more years max. Pretty large buy out if I recall though.

Does his scheme even translate to the pro game?

Probably better than A&M's translates to the SEC

I dunno.

People doubted Kelley. Just an interesting scenario

The only Defense that has stopped him since he has been at AU, is AUs.

That offense will work for about nine minutes in the NFL.

yes it worries me, the guy is an offensive genius and frankly the NFL is a cookie cutter, copycat league that while wildly successful could use more Malzahn`s and Kelly types.

If he wants to go to the NFL and challenge himself then best of luck to him. I think his system would tear it up. If for whatever reason he couldn't make it as HC at the next level he'd for sure make a good OC calling plays.

Throw bricks through his windows, poison the trees in his yard, and burn down all Waffle Houses in and around Tuscaloosa

Fear?

I'm not an NFL fan. Not particularly worried about Malzahn over the longterm.

Defense has been really shaky this year. Fast strike offenses usually do a number on your defense.

the offense will get figured out and become stale.

Lol. Was not expecting the Waffle House reference. Took me a second to know what you were referring to.

Malzahn`s offense hasn`t always looked like it does now , remember Chris Todd , he adjusts to what talent he has

i looked up average time of possession from last year best i remember Bama TOP was like 1.5 more minutes a game than Auburn`s.. Lining up fast doesn`t mean you snap the ball much faster.

His offense would not translate well over to the NFL.
