Do they take UGA with two losses over Mississippi if they have 1 loss or leave SEC out

I hope No SEC team other than UGA makes it.

If Georgia wins out, there's a very real possibility that no SEC team makes it into the playoffs.

If Mississippi State has one loss, they will go. That's it

If that happens we go 100%. There could be two if Bama wins out and still a one lose team from the sec west.

Then there will be two other teams like an Oregon, TCU, or Florida State.

We have no chance unless there are several two loss teams. You can't lose to one average and one very bad team and make it.

I think the only way UGA makes the playoff is if we absolutely dominate everyone from here on. Beat auburn by 21 and win the SECCG by at least 14. Getting Gurley back will play a roll in how the committee votes, and if they believe getting the best player in the league puts UGA as playoff worthy, then we should go. This is all HIGHLY unlikely.

The SEC champ or the best SEC one loss team has to go or the whole system will be considered a sham, not by me, but by the money tree.

Since the committee seems to value quality wins more than poor losses, I think it would be 50-50 for an SEC champ UGA versus a 1 loss SECW team.

How I view it at this point, if Georgia can't make the playoffs then no team from the SEC can make it. Hopefully we win out, make the SEC Championship Game, wreck shite, and ruin it for every other team in the conference.

if we absolutely beat the shite out of the next 3 regular season opponents, soundly beat the SECW champ, we might go..

if we squeak by an unbeaten Miss St team..Miss St goes..

imo of course

^^^this. Can't punish an SEC champ because they play in the toughest conference. Considering we were 1/2" away from beating USCe and only having one loss.

Wrong. There is no way they take Miss. State fresh off losing SEC championship.

This thread is funny. We gave up what...450+ yards rushing to Florida? So now we're going to play a far better team - and one that's pissed off coming off an unexpected loss.

Unless Gurley can play defense, we probably ought to take it one game at a time.

Heck...as inconsistent as we've been, I'm not entirely confident about the Tech game...

If UGA wins out, I think we'd go to the championship game. The Big 10 has poor credentials this year and could end up with nobody unless Ohio State steam rolls Nebraska. I could see FSU, Oregon, Baylor and UGA.

It would help if we faced Alabama instead of Miss State, because I think people would respect a victory over Bama more. Either way, it's a tough road to win out, but not impossible if Hutson Mason plays like he did at the end of UF and against UK.
