Seems like UGA hasn't quite figured out the magenta shirt rule yet.

IT is about the 25 number really. Having filled all those spots last year- which you have to to even be able to get above 30 in any one class, not sure how they can go over 25 this year. All above 25 would have to be gray shirts and count against the following year.

Both times UGA has hit 30+ in a recruiting cycle it has been after a recruiting cycle where they signed 20 or less.

Also do you have a link to this out of curiosity?

UT's last 4 classes have had 26, 23, 23, and 32 enrolled. While enough guys may have been cut or transferred from the program for 33 to work under the 85, I simply don't see any legal way to fit a class of 33 in under 25/year even with back counting.

Feel free to enlighten me. I have the time tonight to be interested.

Butch is short on time. He needs to run some players out of the program quickly.

The quote was "we may sign 33, 32 or 25. We'll take as many as we can."

We will sign 25 and have a couple other greyshirts and finish with around 27.

This thread is dumb.

In this day and age, it doesn't seem coaches get an opportunity for "later".

3 years and better show results, or you're out.
