I have to come here and pay homage to the LSU fan base this year. You were very hospitable and showed a lot class. I've been going to LSU games in TS for over 30 years and this year I saw a different bunch of you. And I heard similar comments from a lot of Bama fans. Did you all get a memo or something from Les to show class this year? (just kidding).
We did almost get in a fight outside the stadium, but we were drunk too so.... (could have been on us this time). The FU Saban is getting old but hey I get it.
Not patronizing either, I just felt compelled since I've been bashing you guys for years on treatment I've gotten there in the past.

Nice post. Away from football, the vast majority of LSU folks are good people.....very strange and different, but good people.

That was my 5th Bama/Lsu game in tiger stadium and I have never seen them like that. I was trying to tell my friend who had never been there before to not take anything personally when we get yelled at but it never happened. I think we only got tiger baited twice the entire day. Best fan experience i've ever had in BR

All in all - good to hear. Fun to go on the road and have some good smack talking, but all in good fun.

maybe it was just me, but i don't feel like I saw nearly as many Bama fans in Baton Rouge this year as I have in the past. Not talking about just people at the actual game but just people out and about the entire weekend. Just had a different feeling to the game than it usually does.

I admittedly lost my head for a few minutes after the game but apologized to the people I yelled at during rammer jammer before I left so I hope I didn't ruin their experience.

Can't tell if this is a subtle bash. Bama has some very strange folks as well, obviously.
Most of the Bama people I have encountered IRL are nice. Once behind keyboards on here though, yall generally suck.

Agreed. Outside of the cups being thrown on us after the game (which happens at a lot of places), LSU fans couldn't have been cooler.
I expected to get a lot of Tiger Baits but only had 1 or 2 people do that to me.

fricking rammer jammer.
I hate their band more than the actual result Saturday night.

I didn't see many either the whole time I was out there.
I was shocked.

Outside of Rammer Jammer, what did the band do?

Played after every play, then played for 30 minutes after the game non-stop. Our band was waiting on them to finish to play the alma mater, but never got that chance.
Pretty solid representation of entitlement.

They were good and loud and I couldn't hear lsu's band as a result which was annoying as an lsu fan but not something they shouldn't have been doing obviously.
Rammer Jammer is pretty much asking for it. No Bama fan should ever complain about any verbal abuse they get during that antagonistic song.

I was right behind the Bama band. They didn't play for 30 min non-stop. It was probably more like 15. I'm not one to stick up for the MDB because I think they are horribly directed, but they aren't the only opposing band to stay & play after a game at another school's venue nor are they the only band that plays after every down.

I'm not going to be one to put this on any refs or anything else....you guys out played us and out coached us in the last 5 minutes of the game including OT. Congrats.....that said...F ALABAMA!!!
