I really hope that this kid has a strong rest of the season so that those two drops do not define his freshman season. I always feel for young players who struggle on the big stage because it can destroy their confidence.

Remember when all the LSU fans insisted he was going to be better than Speedy?

I hope you are right but the supposed sure handed guy out of high school drop 2 crucial 3rd down plays that could have iced the game for us.

He has seemed to have a case of the drops this year. Hope it is just freshmen jitters.

- I saw this kid play in high school catching passes with 3 defenders on him. Not sure what has happened

Quinn really looked nervous towards the end. He's young and those moments won't seem so big eventually. He'll be a good one.

What happened was the kid got absolutely lit up in the Florida game. That hit was NASTY.

He's been hesitant to catch the ball ever since.

You are being kind, there were more than that. Should have tried to get the ball to Diarse instead of Quinn.

Julio used to do this periodically. Sometimes you wonder about the ball when normally surehanded guys like Cooper and Quinn have multiple drops.

When you average around 10 completions a game, it's difficult to maximize potential for anyone. Speedy would not be doing much more in this offense. Even with just a few less drops. Noil can straight ball, however. He'll have a strong career with the aggies.

Saw the stat earlier, he has over a 60% drop rate on passes thrown to him this year. Yet, LSU has John Diarse on the sideline - a guy with better hands and size.

Let's be honest with one another, the infatuation with Trey Quinn has always been about the color of his skin.

He is, was and always will be overrated and given more credit than deserved because he is a white guy.
