I don't mind the no calls on the PI's on both sides. I'm tired of the refs handcuffing the DBs anyway. I do have a problem with the personal foul that Alexander was flagged for. That was fricking weak.

bullshite. Alabama was penalized twice on the game winning TD drive in OT. The refs obviously wanted Alabama to win.

Nonetheless, it isn't much of an argument and we couldn't say if it would have drastically changed the outcome of the game as improbable as it turned out

There is absolutely an argument for it not to be flagged. Both players were pushing and shoving. As an official you either call offsetting or you keep the flag in your pocket because that's a huge call. Going from 2nd and goal from the 6 to 2nd and goal from the 21 is absolutely a game changing call.

Are you kidding? After the pile has broken up and you run across it to shove someone right in front of the ref, and you don't expect a flag? REALLY? The personal foul in overtime on alabama was much sketchier as the play was still alive

Yeah, but who's to say alabama wouldn't have gotten a first down and this is a moot point?

What are you talking about? LSU had the ball on Bama's 6, not the other way around.

Also, what about Alabama losing a TD b/c White had his hand held by an LSU defender?

Both teams were getting away with a lot of contact. For every possible PI that wasn't called against LSU there was one not called against Bama.

Our player baited yours into shoving him and he got the call. If you want to blame someone blame the one who actually committed the penalty. Or the coaches for not instilling discipline.

Alabama got flagged for the same thing during their TD drive in OT. The difference? Alabama was good enough to overcome it.

I was unaware of his antics last week or weekend. Post what he did during the off week that we should consider to be an antic.

How bout going from 1st and goal from the 2 to 1st and goal from the 17? Alabama got a shady PF call as well at a crucial moment.

Ritter and his thugs are experts at killing a team's momentum. You're stoopid if you think that's not true.

Seen it way too many times.

I am seeing the same arguments that were made after Patrick Peterson's int that was disallowed in 09. "There's no guarantee they would've scored a touchdown anyway." Well, bama fans didn't need to worry about that possibility now did they. How about this- STOP frickING CHEATING, so you don't have to continue defending bullshite calls that are helping decide the outcome of epic games. It absolutely diminishes what bama accomplishes and makes everyone in the SEC look like crooked hillbillies, lol. That really was a helluva game last night and it's a real shame that it was marred by bush league officials on such a huge national stage.

And the makeup call personal foul in OT was an entirely different situation. People need stop trying to use that to justify that jackass call that was made against LSU when they were on the five yardline trying to punch it in. The opportunity to score a touchdown was all but stolen from them at that point.
