Regarding tebow - he is not a good qb for a traditional drop back offense. Put him in the shotgun, ask him to make things happen with his athleticism? Great damn player.

Tebow had one of the best 4th quarter qb ratings in history. Thats because fox would run his same old boring beat your head against the wall offense until they were in desperation time. Then tebow would take over andmake plays with his feet and on the run.

Hes not a traditional qb. Hell never succeed like that. You have to design an offense to fit him.

One other note. Driskel still sucks.

I totally agree with this. Unorthodox, but I think with a decent offense he'd be pretty good. We'll never know (unless a Florida team needs a publicity stunt), but he flat out made things happen. His desire to win is unrivaled.

Too soon.

You do realize you have the longest posts on a consistent basis. Let me guide you to the Reel and reflections thread again. Its obvious you cared a whole lot then.

Oh, mein strudel. The problem is one of us never claimed apathy. I do care about it all, you're the one who has said he doesn't with a rather illustrious contradiction.

You are right I said I could care less about discussing Driskel on a thread made to discuss our thoughts on Tebow. Please continue to provide everyone with the correct logic we should have and what we should and shouldn't care about. By the way you do realize the urban dictionary meaning of mein strudel is my penis. So lets hope you were going for the german version.

I actually spent some time in Augsburg, so yes, I meant to say "sweetheart" but in a funnier less gay way.

Mission failed.

Also, I'm right in saying that you "couldn't" care less. Could care less implies that you care, which is bolstered by the fact that you spent so much time in the first place.

I read this whole thread, and then I immediately put my face in a meat slicer. Turns out, I do in fact prefer the meat slicer, plus I have face sammiches for tomorrow.

As much as it pains me... I've always contended that Tebow was one of the best CFB QBs to ever play the game. I thought so back then and I still think so. I also thought back then he wouldn't be a very good NFL QB but would've made an outstanding TE. I just never felt his game would translate to the NFL - not as a QB.

Had he switched positions, he'd not only still be playing but also racking up awards left and right. I just don't think he could imagine himself in any other role.

i think he got a fair shake, he was given plenty of opportunity to play a different position. he could still be in the nfl if he wanted to be, just not as a qb.
