Some pretty big names in that receiving votes column this week.

Honestly I don't care if we're ranked but I find it pretty absurd that 6-3 Utah and 6-3 OU are ahead of us. OU has zero meaningful wins. Utah at least has a good win (UCLA) but one of their losses was at home to 3-7 Wazzou. And both of them only have 6 wins vs our 7 and both got blown out at home this week.
Before the polls was thinking LSU would be only 3 loss team ahead of us. All 3 of our losses (same as LSU) have been to current top 10 teams and we both have a win over yet another current top 10 team. But LSU also has Wisky on their resume. OU, Utah, etc? Not even comparable.

That's what 0-59 will do to us.
But hopefully that's the last of that chapter. Honestly, we could go on and drop Missouri and LSU and I'll be happy as long as we just put up a fight. My biggest fear was Sumlin losing the team but I think he got them back. Once a coach usually loses his team, its pretty much game over. I'm just glad we have been able to get past that and can focus on team improvement in general and not locker room issues.
And now we join our regularly scheduled Snyder and/or Spavital bashing

yeah, I think that's the double edged sword of exposure. The entire country saw us quit vs Bama. Just like the entire country saw LSU quit vs Auburn. It takes a while to build back trust in the public eye when you do that and you need multiple games to do it like LSU has.
But OU got thumped 48-14 at home yesterday. They scored 14 in the first quarter and then were pathetic from that point on (their longest drive after the 1Q was 6 plays). In the 2H while trailing big, they put up about 30 yards of offense. At HOME. It should have wiped them out. But the advantage they have is no one saw it so it isn't ingrained when they are voting and so somehow they are still ranked in the Coaches Poll.
I also find it amusing given their fanbase and coach whine endlessly about SEC bias.
