Makes the most sense . . . especially for Auburn and Ole Miss.

Why on earth would we cheer for alabamer? Buddy Miss State about to kick that arse. No One will be pulling for Alabama except their fan base.

Well, my validation as a fan relies on what we do; not what rivals do or do not do, for one thing.

Other thing is I think it would be hilarious for the SEC to either get no team in, or the country meltdown over a 2 loss SEC team winning it all. Either way, MSU has to lose 2.

You have a better chance of.them forecasting rain in Death Valley than me pulling for the gumps. I would.rather eat a bowl of Ebola!

This is where I am at now. Would be hilarious seeing it happen. Plus I want Auburn to be the one to ruin that playoff possibility.

I think AU would need five or six more unlikely things to happen for a bama victory to benefit us.

(1) we have to beat UGA on the road
(2) we have to beat bama on the road
(3) Ole Miss has to win an ugly egg bowl
(4) UT or UF has to drop a game they shouldn't
(5) we have to win big over Missouri in SECCG
(6) one or two of many ranked 1-loss teams needs to lose again

Yeah, all that ain't gonna happen. No way.

So, go STATE!

Auburn isnt going to the SECCG or the National playoff with 2 losses. I hope the Grinders win out. They deserve it so far and appear to be the class of the conference so far this year.

This. I'm glad the Aggies could be responsible for starting the conference implosion. Sometimes people take sports too seriously. The SEC would be pissed, but nobody would have a legit case. And let's be real, every team in the West has huge weaknesses.

every team in college football has some glaring weaknesses this year. there are no complete, "dominate" teams.
