Does Florida have male cheerleads?

For some reason, I didn't realize that TAMU doesn't have females in cheerleading uniforms until a few weeks ago when they came to Tuscaloosa.
One of the gayest things I've ever seen in my life. I was embarrassed for them.

Just admit you're trying to hide your own homosexuality and move on with your life.

We, do however, love the only female on the aTm sideline : Reveille.

Won't happen. Yell leaders actually get the entire 12th Man in sync on the proper yells. Chearleaders with pompoms, while more visually pleasing, could not 'replace' the yell leaders.
Female yell leaders, well that's a different conversation.

Granted, Reveille is a lot better looking than some MSU cheerleaders.

We don't have a bunch of anorexic gymnasts with no tits, doing acrobatic routines that everyone ignores, sorry. Although we do have a dance team that appears at basketball games (and sports a fair amount of talent), their style doesn't quite fit with the Aggie Band's repertoire at football games--you won't see them gyrating to "Noble Men of Kyle" on the sidelines anytime soon. If we were as obsessed with conformity as some folks seem to be, we'd have never left the Big XII for the SEC.

Old topic but yes, we all make fun of them for it. A&M fans aren't embarrassed about them and are actually proud they exist.

We still have the all-female Aggie Dance Team on the sidelines to be eye candy and look good. They'll just never lead yells.

That's been their tradition forever and probably not likely to change in our lifetimes. It does look like a bunch of queers out there though.
Then, there is all those uniformed skin heads in their crowd. Nothing against uniforms as I wore one for a couple of years earlier in life. But those guys still look pretty damned strange.

Thank you for your input. We will file your concerns and review the data annually. If we should decide a change is in order, we will contact you via the USPS.
In the meantime, go pound sand.

(a) Nope.
(b) Because we don't want to change it. On the contrary, I'm all about bringing back additional Ol' Army traditions.
(c) You imagine incorrectly.
We're not even a scintilla interested in being like your school, nor any other.
Never have I seen a fixation on "gay" like I've seen on this board.
Any outsider would look at the preoccupation for what it is.
And who the heck sits around, contemplating other schools' traditions, then takes a further step by posting about em on a message board?
We've all got our own histories.
Don't give it so much of your energy, bubs.

When will you people realize that we do not give a flyin' frick what you think?
I do realize that this concept is difficult to grasp for you groupthink conformists.
If we had wanted a high school band and high school cheerleaders, we would have attended college in Austin. Think about it.

Seemed to work well yesterday. Long time Auburn season ticket holder said the Aggies were the loudest visiting fanbase they ever had.

I am thoroughly convinced that one has to be homosexual to be a Yell Leader. Seriously the most ghey thing I have ever seen on a football field besides Bruno. Bama fans remember him.
