I'll always remember the dude as a baller. He's had his bad times and needs to help managing the team here and there, but he's such a great story. Hats off to the guy for getting Bama this far and an overtime victory over LSU. Personally, the LSU game means a lot more to me than other games so it was something special watching those final minutes with him leading them to the promised land.

I think we established that when we lost at OM. We left him in to the BITTER end.

He's BEEN the guy, and really since week 1 or 2. I can't remember, now.

Half of Bama Nation owes Andre Ware an apology....that's how I see it.

He does seem to have a clutch gene in him. Has had big drives for is in a lot of games, no only late in the game but also early in the year in first halves when team was rattled and needed to step up

He looked very average, and not much better than Jennings for a better part of the game. He missed a few big passes that could have gone for scores when our dbs were beat.

However, he showed poise and knowledge on the last drive. I've said it in another thread, but I'll say it again: Sims did exactly what Bo Wallace was supposed to do. That was the difference in the game.

He looked average last night... but all season he's done a pretty shocking job at making plays, escaping trouble, and managing the game.

On that last drive, we brought I think it was Adams on a blitz to sims blind side. He put a great move on him to escape the pressure and make a play. If Adams gets to sims there and gets the sack the game is just about over with no timeouts and the clock running. That was a game saving play.

Sims has far exceeded my expectations.

Given the schedule this year we are an 8-9 win team without him IMO.

Heck, had OJ Howard fought for the ball on that last play at OM or the kicker had made his field goals, we could be looking at an undefeated season to this point. He has had bad games, but he keeps his head up and shakes off his mistakes.

His ability to spin out of sure fire sacks has really made up for a lot of his shortcomings and saved us in multiple games this year

- he has also had a number of picks dropped which hit defenders right in the hand which would have changed his and the teams season fairly dramatically IMO.

He really does. It's almost like he still has in the back of his mind that he could lose his job!

whatever works... i'm a huge fan of his.

Your melt over the refs has been quite enjoyable. I hope it continues into the week

He's just way better at home than on the road. I expect him to have big games against state and auburn. Would like to see Coker play the entire other game. Need to get him some run.

He has been my favorite player over the last few years. Since Mark Ingram.

I would still like him. There are some Bama fans that don't like him and some who have never liked one of our qb's though. Different opinions throughout our fanbase
