We, like you, have no idea how Tom Ritter has a job. Every game he does of Bama's, he misses calls right and left. To the point that most games it feels like he is calling against us. In fact everyone over at my house last night felt like the refs were calling favorably for LSU. Yet every LSU fan thinks the opposite.
It's not a conspiracy, Ritter and his crew just suck. Hard. Can't wait till his arse is fired.

Yeah he made bad calls against both teams last night.
He really is the worst ref in the SEC. Don't see how he still has a job.

Thanks for a reasonable post in regards to Ritter. He doesn't intentionally suck in favor bama, he just all together sucks

Nope, but you are definitely making a case to be one.
We were denied a PI on a TD pass to D.White, denied a PI on our last drive on another pass to D.White and got two penalties on our OT drive.
How that is in our favor, only God knows. Maybe you can explain?

The difference in how the calls or no calls change throughout the game. There was contact on a lot of deep throws, but they were there all game and ignored both ways. We just hardly threw the damn ball so it obviously happened more against Bama than LSU.
It was the classic "let them play" game. Pushing after the play, piles shoved one way or another without forward progress whistled, holding nearly inexistant, that damn blatant pick play on an early 3rd down (first half i think, pass to cooper where he was scared of the first down line), they were letting things go. There were what, 2 flags going into 90 seconds left? Then at the biggest moment in the game, they shift focus and call a flop with pushing and pulling happening by both teams. It's hard to think that wasn't deliberate at that time.

Bama had some favorable calls, and the Personal foul was ridiculous. But Tre White also got away with a PI on an important play in the game.

I am curious how all the people at your house reacted to the face mask being ripped off our QB and no call being made favored LSU?
There were two other blatant face masks that weren't called on BAMA earlier...
How about the punt being called a touchback when we clearly downed it at the 1...?
The other one that got me was in LSUs TD pass...the ref could not see over the receiver's shoulder as to when he caught the ball and he had a foot in but the ref defaulted to out of bounds...luckily the review guys were honest...

Game was called even until it mattered. Then it turned into yet another Bama protection agency.

Are the officiating crews just randomly assigned to games? It just seems like always his crew is doing these big games.

Supposedly it's merit based. Best crew gets the biggest games.
However there are several crews better than his imo. By several....I mean all of them.
