With it looking more and more likely that Donnie Tyndall will get the axe, it's time to fire this thing up.

Tier 1

Ben Howland, unemployed-Did not accept the only job he was offered last offseason, Oregon State.

Bruce Pearl, Auburn-Winningest coach (by winning percentage) in VOLS history. Has family in area, including son who is a current freshman at UT. Will have a chance to prove he has improved as a coach at a lower level this season after a disastrous final season in Knoxville that resulted in a 30 point 1st round loss in the NCAA Tournament

Tier 2

Archie Miller, Dayton-Coached Dayton to the Elite 8 last season. Was never approached by Tennessee this spring, which was imo a mistake.

Chris Mack, Xavier-Seemingly interviews for the Tennessee job every time it's open, but has never gotten it. This could be the time.

Some shite at his old school is being investigated but likely won't effect us. V30 is just getting his perpetual coaching search boner on.

Tyndall got a little sloppy at Southern Miss.

I posted a thread calling for Tyndall to be fired. It's time to start thinking about replacements now that the termination appears to be imminent.

It certainly doesn't look good given he had issues at Morehead.

You know deep down you want to hire Rick Stansbury.

Would he consider that a step up from where he is?

I would be fine with that for 3-4 years. Stack that roster.

Vols hired a coach with questionable ethics. Also water is wet.

Subtle with just a touch of TN Redneck. Well done.
