It's so true! Come to Tennessee and play in front of 100k as a gladiator, or go to Ole Miss and play in a Texas high school stadium.

Why this very year I sat smack dab in the middle of the visitor end zone in Oxford. How many Vols told me what a nice high school stadium it was I didn't bother to count.

34-3

I can't comment on the rest of the stadium because I didn't leave the visitor section.. but it was pretty shitty.

I posted about it on the rant after the game and every Ole Miss fan agreed with me.

I would hope the "best" team you guys have had literally since segregation beat a freshman rebuilding team. Can't win every game in the series. Enjoy capping your "dream season" at the Gator Bowl.

This team isn't as good as our 2008 team that finished 9-4 and 2nd in the West.

Sorry didn't mean to spite a 8-4 Houston Nutt coached team that rests high in Mississippi folklore.

pesky_Val: you do realize that your team won't be much better anytime soon since you haven't gotten any significant numbers of OLine coming yet. You'll have a great D but if you can't protect Dobbs with the Oline you have you are going to be on a constant wash, rinse and repeat cycle!

Yeah, it's impossible for a young line with 5 new starters to get better after a year together. Pack it in, boys.

Oline will only get better from here. We were the only team in all of D1 football that had to replace every single starter on both sides of the ball. Some of our freshman getting a lot of minutes there haven't even been in a offseason program yet. The ones we have committed in this cycle aren't exactly scrubs.

Although I will give you credit on your knowledge of being stuck in a never ending rut. You guys have been in the suck arse, wash, rinse and repeat cycle since the invention of color TV.

We are on the verge of signing back to back top 5 classes despite having three consecutive 5-7 seasons for the first time in our program's illustrious history. Really speaks volumes about the long term staying power and brand that is Tennessee football. Tennessee football will be fine in the long run like it always has been.

You guys just need to worry about not permanently playing second fiddle in your own state. We will keep recruiting at an elite level like we always have. Drew Richmond or not we will be just fine. By the time we are back to threatening for the SEC title yearly, maybe you guys will still be in the Golden Age of Ole Miss football and finishing 4th in the SEC West. It's gonna be an uphill fight you guys, but it will all be worth it when you hoist that Gator Bowl trophy every five years. I'll be pulling for you guys!

One of Tennessee or Ole Miss is tied for fourth in their division this year…

One of them is in the Gator Bowl…

One of them is in their first bowl game in almost half a decade…

Psk_Vol, if I pick you up from your assisted living facility, give you all the bologna sandwiches you could ask for, and explain to you how babies are made, will you buy a lottery ticket and split the winnings with me?

As the resident down-to-Earth Vol fan, do you think I'll get charged with a hate crime for being mean to psk_Vol?
