Has there ever been a team crumble so quickly in a month's time as A&M?

On October 4th they were 5-0 and ranked 5th, according to the ESPN talking heads the number 1 seed in the CFP, Kenny "Trill" was the Heisman favorite, and Sumlin could name his NFL job. Now, they are 6-3, barely beat ULM, good chance they won't win another game, have a new QB, and Sumlin stutters at his press conferences. Most overrated team ever?

I remember an aggie fan went full homer on me in a thread ranking the SEC QBs when I said I'd take Marshall and JJ ahead of Kenny Hill because I haven't seen "Trill" enough

I almost feel sorry for the way their posters have been so humiliated and humbled on this board. Like a dog that has been beaten too many times. But then I remember the Texas hubris and unearned arrogance and my only thought is frick those guys. Hope they lose out in embarrassing fashion.

I just hope they've lost their will to live, we could do with an easy game where we don't have to score too many points.

It was about a month between the IB and the Sugar Bowl last year, so yeah, I'll go with that as my choice.

At the end of the day, I live in Texas. Which makes me better than every single poster on this board, regardless of the football program.

2012 State collapsed pretty quickly. They didn't start ranked as high though.
