Then I guess that block on Harden was meaningless since it was regular season. We're walking through Dallas. Too bad you won't be joining us.

I wish I knew who came up with it. Maybe Sean Elliott? Idk

Think I first heard it in 2013.

But some serious bball talk.

Dwight was a man on a mission when he was on the court. He completely changes our defense. 11 points, 5 boards, and 5 blocks in only 17 min. When he wasn't committing dumb fouls or getting called for a ticky tacky call, he was maybe the best player on the court. I was very pleased with rookie Clint Capella. He's too light to bang vs the bigs for much more than 20 min a game, but every time he got overpowered he responded with a block. He was dunking & blocking like a poor man's Deandre Jordan.

I came away impressed with what Dirk still has in the tank. He wasn't getting help from a lot of his teammates and the frustration was obvious. Now he is still a huge baby, flopped all night, and whined too much for my taste tonight.

Dwight looked terrific, and I too was impressed with Capella's fortitude. I was more impressed by the other role players stepping up for y'all (namely Ariza, Brewer, and Terry) and really keeping DAL at bay when they climbed back in the game.

Dirk looked vintage for stretches tonight. Wasn't expecting that. If DAL hadn't turned the ball over/missed so many bunnies, it might have been a close game down the stretch.

It'll be interesting to see which trends hold in game 2.

Every now and then Dirk still pulls his vintage "Couldnt miss if he tried" mode, but he cant win games by himself anymore like he could from 2005-2011. He needs Parsons and Ellis to be MUCH better.

Kinda infuriates me to see Ellis just fall asleep or check out mentally for stretches in these games because it seems like he lives to annihilate the Spurs

Parson played a decent game inside the 3 point line, but couldn't find the range. Mavs are gonna need the threat of him filling it up from the perimeter in order to space the floor.

Dwight looked terrific. We're going to need him to stay on the floor longer than 17 minutes in the upcoming games, though.

One thing that worries me is the amount of offensive rebounds Dallas got, especially when Dwight was on the bench with foul trouble. If we can limit 2nd chance opportunities, I just don't see this series lasting very long

Agree on Terry, 4th quarter Brewer, and Ariza. I fully expect all those guys to not quite play as well the rest of the series. Revert to the mean, if you will. Same goes for Rando's O (worse), Ellis (better), & Harden (better).

Dirk plays like he is undead.

Undead like the white walkers.

White walkers that never seem to die.

Dirk to Spurs confirmed.

Haha, I don't think the NBA could handle two old timers on the same team.
