I believe that in 2016 and 2017, uga will have what we need on both sides of the ball. Pruitt is putting together a damn fine class while our offense is going to be extremely potent. I truly believe richt and Eason are going to the ship. I also however believe that with the departing of Eason, comes the departing of richt. MNC or not. I think this is our last hoorah with richt.

Everyone calling for richt to step down needs to realize that will mean losing one of the best qb prospects we've ever seen. The chemistry with big Cleveland is forming, and Chubb and Sony will be juniors.

I think richt leaves when the Eason saga ends.

Eason definitely is our best QB prospect since Stafford and he should have a good line. Will be interesting.

While I don't believe that Richt should be fired to step down, you can't base a decision on whether or not you hire or fire a coach on whether or not a player who's not even old enough to buy a can of Skoal will come to your school.

Hes 16 and he's better than every qb at uga right now. Everyone knows he's special. Yes he's throwing against high school d's, but you can't teach a kid to be 6' 5" and throw 65 yard ropes with a flick of the wrist.

I've enjoyed Richt's teams but the frequent bad losses have been painful. Hopefully our coaches will be able to turn things around after Eason is under center.

I will continue to be critical of Richt when it's deserved but I'm not ready to trade Mark for what's behind door number three.

Jeff Driskel was a 5 star too.

Pruitt

I’d be willing to bet he moves on before then. His track record isn’t long enough to say he’s a job jumper, but I think he’ll be considered for some smaller school HC jobs in his home state or a return to Bama once Kirby cuts the umbilical cord.

Eason

As a highly touted as he is, we’ve seen some 5-star bust. I think it’s unfair to hitch our future, right now, to a kid who is 16.

Maybe. Maybe not. But Eason will not drop his commitmnent base on Pruitt. his will hinge on Richt and POSSIBLY Bobo. If Richt is fired and Bobo is not promoted to HC it is a safe bet to think Eason will go elsewhere. I think Richt holds the key to Eason more than Bobo, does.

But make no mistake about this...if Richt is fired, PROBABLY Pruitt will leave and Bobo if he isn't promoted. You can wave bye-bye to this years class.

And yet we do this every single year. Notice the ecruiting thread stickied at the top? Most, granted, are 17 and 18, but it is the same principle. We place a huge importance on recruiting classes. We all want to get the next Herschel...the next Gurley...the next Chubb....it is in our genes as fans.

Considering our awesome stable of QBs, I don't think that is a bad thing.

So this is where we're at now, huh. Hoping to be good in 3 years from now. Smh.

If we don't give Ramsey some playing time then it will be more of hte same. Also, Batou (however you spell that it)has the worst arm of the current three. Heck, Park won't make it either. So, it isn't looking exactly bright. I imagine Ramsey will be a good deal better than HM (which isn't hard to do by any stretch), but he will won't be the answer. So, where does that leave us? How many WRs are we going to have next year - especially with meaningful experience?

Unfortunately, that is correct. But once again, how can one truly compete when the admin isn't willing to do what it takes to win?

Just going to put this little gem that Crow linked yesterday. 'nuff said.

Until there are people in place who are willing to look at how things are done from top to bottom with a sharp eye, a willingness to demand the best and, just as importantly, are going to supply the best in support of that demand, what you see is all you’re gonna get.

The admin is at fault to the extent at which they refuse to hire a new coach.

It's so much larger than that. What you see is the easy fix. Look at the big picture.

This is the biggest fricking cop out. Florida has won 3 National championsips and at least 8 SEC titles since 1990. Tell me EXACTLY what they have that we don't. I'll give you a clue. NOT A GODDAMN THING OTHER THAN SUPERIOR COACHES.
