If you were Todd Gurley, would you come back and play the last 4 games?

What is there really for him to accomplish in those last 4 games? There really is not upside for him at this point. Now it is all his doings but If I were him, Id pack my shite and wait for the combine.

If he comes out and plays well, the team and fans will despise him. If he comes out and sucks arse, the team and fans will despise him.

More than likely, UGA wont go to the SEC Championship game so he is playing for what? the Outback bowl possibly

If he comes in, after sitting for a while, and gets injured. It could hurt his chances.

It really makes no sense for him to come back and play against the last few teams on the schedule.

Before they lost to Florida people making this thread were retarded. Now I tend to think it'd be smart for him to sit.

Lattimore just proves that anything can happen on any play.

With this logic though, no player should play if they are highly touted.

No, it is a legitimate question. You have not found one single post with me dogging UGA about getting their asses handed to them by a terrible Florida team Saturday.

I hope he plays. But in the end, I would sit and move on. His time at UGA is over in a bad way if you cant tell by his fan base.

is he?

3K to possibly ruin his teams season? Doesn't seem like it

I bet he has agents and family members telling him to save it. One bad slip up and his best chance at life is gone.

Richt is an elite coach. The administration just doesn't support him enough. He would have at least 2 NCs by now... if it weren't for the admins keeping a moral ground unlike Auburn, Bama, Florida, etc. At least when we lose.. its good to know it is more than about sports, it is about developing you...

This was his post about 3 hours ago. If this isn't implying that Gurley should have never been suspended, I don't know what is.

Now he's saying he hopes he gets injured.

Hell yes, I'd play. Unless for some reason I want my draft stock to plummet.

If Gurley doesn't come back, then when he's in the NFL and he's in the final year of his contract, what would stop him from refusing to play the last few games of the season if his team is out of the playoffs? Guys fall in the draft all the time because of character issues, and refusing to play for your team when you're healthy would be a pretty damn big issue.

I hope he bought some insurance with the proceeds form his signings. The one positive he has going for him is he is just a Jr. If he did get injured, he could still come back next year.

I thought about that but Im not so sure the NFL would ding him on loyalty. He will pretty much be the first RB taken. He is a stud. Not playing three games wont hurt his stock in my opinion...

It may ding his character a little but not much. Look at Clowney...
