@HKellenbergerCL: Four months of recovery time for Laquon Treadwell, which means he could be back for spring practice.
Absolutely hate it for the guy, especially the way everything happened, but that doesn't seem nearly as bad at it could've been.

As I said in another thread minus the dislocated ankle I had the same injury in high school. Had the surgery as well.

I remember going to a specialist and I was still in a soft cast and he said " well start unwrapping it so I can look at it." As I was doing so he put up the X-Ray looked at it for 1 second and said "never mind don't unwrap you need surgery" said that it was a common and automatic surgery injury. But I was out of a cast and starting rehab in 8 weeks. So hopefully with no complications Laquon can do the same

I actually think the dislocated ankle is what hade it so bad. Maybe it's just me, but seeing his ankle just flop around was the worst

I'm glad they didn't show the replay in the stadium, I would have vomited.
I never even saw it til the next day. I wanted to cry seeing how close he was and then his reaction.

The broken bone is not that big of a deal.....having your foot ripped off your leg is huge problem I highly doubt he is back by spring.....I just pray for recovery period. Guys....it was a very bad injury.

It was bad, but early indication isn't terrible (all things considered). Unless I'm mistaken, there is no news of torn ligaments or anything of that nature, which is always a big concern with that type of injury. It's a bad injury, but if the news we have now is correct it could have been a lot worse.

He's a great athlete with the right mindset, I hope and expect him to go though most of spring ball (maybe not 100% though) but be fully ready by summer
