They might be. H2H seems to matter now.

I think they will. OM's big win is vs Bama who LSU has not lost to, no transitive comparison. Ole Miss losses were both heart breakers sure, but still loses. both LSU losses are to top notch teams, I think they would take the H2H

I don't see them dropping OM 14 spots after losing to #3. I think LSU should be 12-15 with OM one spot behind, but that isn't going to happen. LSU was ranked too low after beating OM.

Auburn won't be second, Bama won't be that low and LSU won't be ranked about Ole Miss. Ole Miss will be 12th at worst. They might not drop past 10.

If OM isn't at least 12 then the committee is going to start losing all credibility.

Ohio St and Nebraska are easy to drop below LSU/Ole Miss, I could see that.

I think Michigan St is the only team I could be ranking too high, but the theory I'm basing it on is the way the committee is going to come to a consensus by talking to each other, something absent in the polls.

I think they are going to be unafraid to move to teams around on a week to week basis. That's why I dropped Alabama, FSU, and Notre Dame. FSU continues to look ridiculously mortal against teams that are just OK. Notre Dame's only win is against FOUR loss Stanford, and Alabama's resume did not improve during the bye, whereas K-St, Mich St, and TCU's all did.
If Alabama wins out they will jump teams with this, even if those teams also win out. The opportunity is coming, but it hasn't arrived yet. same for ND, FSU doesn't deserve to be ranked #2 at the end of the season if Auburn and Miss St wins out, but theres no real harm in getting #3 instead of #2 so it's an opportunity for the committee to make a statement about what they think of ACC without actually punishing FSU.

it seemed to matter last week for SEC teams, yet for Big 12 and Pac 10 teams, it had no bearing whatsoever. makes no sense really

nah, they said they felt Arizona and Baylor results were not enough to overcome other factors. For example how close TCU was to winning, and Oregon had a bazillion OL injuries

12 teams in the pac bro

exactly what is frustrating. different metrics for different teams. no consistency throughout.

but 10 teams in the Big 12? I can't keep up anymore. I will refer to them as the Pac 8 again from here on out

Bama not gonna be spoon fed into the top spot like they are by the biased media week to week. They'll have to win out.
