It's okay to admit that you got a lucky break (no pun intended) on Saturday. Nobody is saying you would've lost the game for sure, but it's okay to admit that like multiple times last year, fortune was on your side. You should be ecstatic. Fortune isn't on the side of many.

It felt decidedly unlikely to set MSU up on our door step 3 times in a 2 score loss. Maybe your right. We deserved a bit of luck.

Most of these threads are actually about Ole Miss. Transitive obsession.

All close games come down to a few plays that you make or don't make.

I recognize that we have won a barrel of close games with some key plays making a difference.

When we lose, the other team makes those plays. Football is fun to watch because the ball bounces funny sometimes. Ole Miss got a great bounce on a punt which could have gone out of bounds, pinning AU on the 4 yard line. AU took it 96 yards for a TD.

500 yards of offense puts you in position to benefit from "luck"

I don't have a problem with saying that was fortunate for us (the fumble aspect, not the injury). We were away against a top 5 team and had to overcome beau coup penalty yards.

It's not like we'll get credit for the bad breaks that we saw to start off the MSU game. So if yall want to view us as supernaturally lucky, have fun with it

100+ yards in penalties on the road, and win. Sure if that's luck.
