Tennessee hasn't been relevant in almost a decade. UGA has at least won the east a couple of times and gone to a few BCS bowls.

NCs are the only measure of relevance. Ours was a while back, but 16 years more relevant than UGA's.

We need to define some by-laws. I think one season can't get you in, unless you win a national championship. And we have no process for kicking anyone out - until Tennessee became a laughingstock for over a decade, we never needed one.

The big 6 are all safe this year, but if anyone is getting the boot it's UT.
ETA: One good year from Miss St isnt enough to suddenly vault them into big 6 status even if they win a title. They have a tooooon of work to do to get there IMO.
