Face it, folks, the problem doesn't lie with Richt.

After readying durdens and Crow's posts about the piss-poor support the admin is giving, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see where the problem lies. You don't get the support to become super elite, you never will become super elite. No coach will change that, either.

You have the full support of the admin when players like Crow & the many many others are accepted to attend college at UGA

The rest of the shite is irrelevant

Yeah, getting out spent 4-1 by Bama, AU, LSU, UT, UF mean nothing. Having support staffs like quality control coaches and having a weight training staff that out numbers our 4-1 means absolutely nothing.

Mark Richt & Nick Saban are equal when it comes to having advantages - Richt's just unwilling to take charge of the football team and stay on top of shite

So far from the truth it's scary.

Also, you know what helps Saban stay on top of shite? About 15 more staff members.

Dawgs having problems w/ recruiting or something?

It takes a special weight room to get strong?

Not enuff handlers to take players to class?

Relative to the Alabama's and FSU's of the world, yes.

So what's different between say 1983 and today in the total program?

I'm using 1983 as a barometer because it was the end of a time period when every opponent (victors & losers) feared and respected the true Junk Yard Dawgs.

How things have changed...

You ever notice Nick Saban has a leash around Kiffin's neck & walks him along the sideline?

I'm not even sure if Jeremy Pruitt and Mark Richt have even spoke

Billions of dollars in college football changed the game.

So what specifically changed? College football was the marquee market and raised I'm sure the same or an even larger portion of the schools revenue during our great run back then?

We have the same numbers of players on the field despite the money influx and inflation.

I don't agree with this though I do think the gap has closed some since McGarity has become our AD.

I do agree that this is part of the problem. Richt has definitely been guilty of some lazy coaching IMHO. The lack of recruiting effort for the 2010 class and not maintaining a full roster in general are prime examples.

It's comforting to know how lost y'all are

Try to get out & look around - do some research for yourself

Don't just repeat stupid shite you find on 247

TV money mostly. Programs have more revenue, so they have more money to spend. This has led to wild inflation in facilities, coaching salaries, support staffs, etc.

UGA has not kept pace with its peers in the arms race.
