Ala's fans have legit reasons to believe that their team will make it to the playoffs. Miss St looks beatable, and will have a hard time on the road against Bama.

But I also have legit reasons to believe LSU will shut out Ala in Tiger Stadium. LSU's D looks all the more impressive after seeing Ole Miss, Fla and Kentucky play recently, especially Ole Miss who looks like the best team in the country. If my prediction holds true LSU 17 Ala O, what will that mean to the SEC W rankings, considering that a shut out Ala defeats Miss St and Aub at home, and then Ole Miss defeats Miss St at home. Then who should represent the West, to me it should be Ole Miss.

First off,

And the answer is Auburn in the event of a three-or-more-way tie. I think that's locked up, though both USC and UGA losing this weekend may have put a wrench in that.

Did an LSU fan just say Ole Miss looks like the best team in the country?

Alabama is 11th in the country in scoring offense and total offense.

Ole Miss is barely inside the top 50 in scoring offense and outside of the top 50 in total offense.

Tennessee and Florida are trying to make it interesting.

If we cross the 50 then it wouldn't be that embarrassing.

I feel like we've already clinched the tiebreaker against Ole Miss and Mississippi State, but yeah, Alabama complicates that a little after this weekend.

Louisiana Schizophrenia University strikes again...

Up through the first half of the Kentucky game the Rantards were ready to burn Les and Cam at the stake. Now, the Bayou Bengals are the '85 Bears.

If any of you were being honest, Ole Miss looked like it the best Saturday night. But most of you are not. LSU shutting out Ala would play havoc with determining who's the best in the SEC W.

Current cross-divisional win totals:

Auburn: 7 (13/16)
Alabama: 4 (11/16)
Mississippi State: 2 (11/16)
Ole Miss: 1 (11/16)

Best-case for Auburn is USC over UF and UGA over UK, leaving them with 9 wins.

Alabama could have both UT and UF win-out and leave them sitting at 9 wins as well (UT having UK, Mizzou, and VU; UF having VU and USC). So it looks like the USC/UF game could very well determine who goes to Atlanta... from the West

Les Miles will make LSU take a knee in the final minute at Ala's goal line with LSU leading 17-0, its how Les Miles operates. Many LSU fans may not like it, but that's textbook Les fricken Miles, he's got too much class.

Aub looked really lucky like Fla St, Ole Miss looked really good, played like the best team in the country. And if LSU shuts out Ala, like I truly believe they will, and Ga defeats Aub, Ole Miss should be in the SEC title game.

of course it would dumb arse. I think the other posters are ridiculing you (justifyably) because it's a pretty stupid assumption that LSU will shut out bama. you really are making the rest of us LSU fans look bad.

Totally stupid assumption really, GrandPapa toothless, like Fla blowing out Ga? This is the SEC, most teams here have a ton of talent, they get better when they learn how to win by finding their correct identity and finding the correct players for their positions. Go easy on the meds, I'm a grandpa too but not nearly that anal.
